About The Position

Sally Beauty, a division of SBH, is looking for a qualified intern to join our eCommerce Team. The Intern will be responsible for assigned eCommerce projects during the 10-week program. The intern will help elevate how Sally Beauty’s products and categories show up online. This intern will support the Sally eCommerce team by optimizing product pages with A+ content (images and SEO keywords), researching trends, and assisting with creative and operational projects. This intern should be prepared to work cross functionally with various teams including Ecommerce, Merchandising and Marketing. The intern should have exceptional organization and communication skills and be able to work effectively and with detail in a fast-paced environment. At the completion of this opportunity, the eCommerce Intern will have gained broad experience in various aspects of eCommerce. To apply you must meet these guidelines/requirements: This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work three days per week at the Support Center in Legacy West, Plano, TX. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not provided. Availability is required from June 1 through August 7, 2026, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a College degree – Business, Digital Retail, other related fields.
  • Entry level – No previous experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Ability to use data to understand and analyze complex business problems and solutions.
  • Ability to communicate information to coworkers, leadership, and cross functional partners.
  • Passion for beauty and an interest in ecommerce.

Responsibilities

  • Help audit existing content to identify opportunities to improve product pages for selected categories. The site audit will help to improve clarity, consistency and conversion. Work with vendors and/or Marketing to gather SEO-driven category and product copy that is educational, on-brand and customer-friendly. Support the selection and organization of visual assets including (before/after imagery, ingredient callouts, routines)
  • Partner with site merchandising to enhance internal search terms for selected categories.
  • Analyze performance on product page updates, report on insights, and provide recommendations for improvement. Analysis will include reviewing KPIs (key performance indicators) such as revenue, bounce rate, conversion, etc.
  • Assist team members with special projects and ad-hoc requests.
