About The Position

The eCommerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate product representation online to drive increased sales. This role will advocate, support, maintain and grow all digital merchandising activity on both owned and affiliated properties.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; equivalent, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Grocery Retail experience preferred
• Record of proven results in online marketing functions (catalog taxonomy, search optimization, online merchandising, content management, navigation, etc.)
• Experience defining criteria for KPI’s and using web analytics tools
• Proven results-driven self-starter and critical thinker with a desire to grow in the digital merchandising/marketing space.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications
• Ability to understand and operationalize financial and statistical data.
• Knowledge of digital/interactive marketing channels and strategies
• Proven success building and nurturing effective collaborative business relationships.
• Effectively navigates complex relationships where negotiation and compromise are recurring characteristics
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective communicator using both written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for establishing and maintaining processes and SOP’s to support their function in a timely and accurate manner.
• Partner with Content Marketing to align promotional activities with the marketing communications calendar to ensure a consistent experience on all associated platforms.
• Work independently and collaboratively with external vendor partners and internal teammates to ensure accurate product catalog representation
• Work cross-functionally with other teammates to support marketing messaging through thoughtful merchandising (organizing promotional aisles, mirroring marketing messaging on third-party marketplaces, etc.)
• Work with other teammates to implement the Stater Bros. Markets brand experience within the digital marketplace
• Implementation of site enhancements
• Responsible for providing reporting and insights
• Supports other efforts as directed by leadership
• Perform all other duties as assigned
