About The Position

The eCommerce Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational efficiency across all eCommerce sales channels by ensuring accurate inventory planning, seamless order fulfillment, and strong third-party partner management. This role owns inventory forecasting and allocation by channel, oversees purchasing and receiving across multiple locations, and serves as the primary point of contact for 3PL and co-manufacturing partners. The eCommerce Operations Manager plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy through physical counts and reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and continuously improving processes that support scalable, cost-effective growth.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Four-year college or university).
  • 5+ Years of experience in increasingly senior digital marketing and management roles, with experienced in consumer product categories strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in DTC eCommerce and/or Marketplaces (Amazon + Walmart)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and innovation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of various analytics tools and platforms, with the ability to summarize key data for C-level executives.
  • Hands on experience in managing eCommerce platforms/apps (ex: Big Commerce, ShipStation, Zenventory).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Expertise in partnering across organization to deliver key company goals.
  • Leadership experience includes managing and developing team members from a variety of backgrounds. Build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Time management ability to ensure that work is completed within specified time and quality parameters to meet the company demands.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and syndicated data reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end operational efficiency across all eCommerce channels by standardizing workflows, improving data accuracy, and reducing fulfillment friction.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs, improve speed to customers, and support scalable growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Production and Supply Chain to align forecasts, inventory strategy, and promotional planning.
  • Own demand forecasting and inventory planning by channel (including, but not limited to: DTC websites, Amazon, and Walmart) to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Maintain accurate inventory availability across all systems and sales platforms.
  • Proactively manage inventory risks, including stockouts, overstocks, aging inventory, and expiring products.
  • Oversee inbound shipments and receiving across multiple warehouses and locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate system updates for all receipts, transfers, and adjustments
  • Plan and conduct physical inventories and cycle counts across all locations.
  • Reconcile physical counts against system inventory and investigate variances.
  • Partner with Finance to support accurate inventory valuation, COGS reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
