About The Position
Identifies, evaluates, and diagnoses students with learning disabilities or special needs to determine eligibility for special education services Ability to administer standardized tests, conduct classroom observations, create detailed diagnostic reports, and recommend IEP (Individualized Education Program) modifications/accommodations
Requirements
- Master’s degree (preferably in Special Education)
- Valid Educational Diagnostician Certification
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification (Special Education)
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience (preferably of students with disabilities)
- Experience working with diverse student populations, parents, and other stakeholders
Responsibilities
