Position Summary The EHS / Safety Coordinator at Dynatect plays a key role in creating and sustaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This position supports our New Berlin manufacturing facilities by ensuring regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety performance, and reinforcing Dynatect’s Lean culture and safety-first mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to safety
  • Experience interpreting and applying regulatory standards in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support a Lean manufacturing culture
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, concepts, and methodologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Lean or manufacturing environments
  • Professional EHS certifications (CSP, CHMM, CIH, OSHA)
  • Three or more years of progressive experience in EHS roles
  • Prior experience coordinating and leading EHS programs
  • Familiarity with EHS data tracking, reporting, and compliance software
  • Lean / Manufacturing industry expertise.
  • Professional certifications in EHS (e.g., CSP, CHMM, CIH) and OSHA.
  • At least three years of experience in EHS roles, with progressive responsibilities.
  • Prior experience in coordinating EHS programs and initiatives.
  • Familiarity with relevant software applications for data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a strong safety culture by promoting safe work practices and environmental stewardship across the facility
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry best practices
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits; ensure timely corrective actions
  • Lead and coordinate employee safety training, including emergency response, PPE usage, and hazard awareness
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; perform root cause analysis and recommend preventative actions
  • Manage hazardous waste handling and disposal in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain effective emergency response plans
  • Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, inspections, and training
  • Monitor changes in EHS regulations and proactively ensure ongoing compliance
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance and environmental responsibility
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections, audits, and reporting activities
  • Participate in internal and external EHS audits and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Stay current on EHS trends, best practices, and emerging regulations to continuously strengthen Dynatect’s EHS programs
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to Safety Team members and First Responders
