About The Position

Work toward the prevention of workplace incidents through cooperation with plant operations. Assist in the coordination and administrative aspects of plant safety/health programs. Facilitate safety training to include new hire orientation. This person will report to the Environmental Health and Safety Manager.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a safety support role.
• Experience delivering training programs.
• Understanding of safety in a manufacturing setting and possesses a passion for the safety and wellbeing of all employees.
• Must be able to travel to support multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and environmental training throughout the full employment life cycle.
• Track training for all environmental, health and safety components to maintain OSHA compliance.
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation and reporting for EHS metrics.
• Schedule and administer periodic testing, including Respirator and Hearing tests.
• Support health and safety management initiatives as a member of the Safety Committee.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
