The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an EHS Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. How you will make an impact Support site EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including regulatory reporting and tracking, while promoting a strong EHS culture and awareness of initiatives Provide technical EHS support for new or modified equipment, new product introductions, incoming material approval, and management of change Conduct risk assessments and support implementation of corrective actions to reduce risk, drive continuous improvement, and improve overall site performance Assist with incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventative action development Support inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions, including preparation, participation, and follow-up

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND (2) two years of experience in EHS in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED from AND (6) six years in experience in EHS in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with Plant Management and production employees
  • Strong attention to detail with effective prioritization and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001
  • Experience with hazardous waste management, stormwater management, lock out/tag out, machine guarding, and/or emergency response teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Certifications such as: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH); Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM); Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other related credentials
