EHS Engineer (G-Project)
About The Position
Implement and maintain Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) processes in accordance with applicable regulations and company standards. Actively promote and support the development of a strong EHS culture and awareness across the organization. Support the implementation and maintenance of fire protection and fire safety systems and procedures. Coordinate and conduct regular EHS inspections and factory safety patrols to ensure compliance and identify potential hazards. Participate in the investigation of safety incidents, deviations, and observations, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Develop and deliver EHS training programs and materials for employees. Conduct machine safety reviews and support the safe installation and commissioning of equipment. Implement and maintain a comprehensive risk assessment system, including hazard identification, exposure assessment, and risk mitigation. Support chemical safety management, including proper storage, handling, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate waste management activities in accordance with environmental regulations and company policies. Prepare and maintain annual EHS reports and documentation.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Safety Engineering, Fire Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- 3–5 years of experience in EHS within a multinational manufacturing or industrial environment.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in fire safety or related safety disciplines.
- Auditor certification for ISO 14001:2015 and/or ISO 45001:2018.
- Lifting Equipment Administrator qualification.
