About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HSE Intern to support our Health, Safety & Environment team. This internship provides hands-on experience in workplace safety practices, environmental compliance, and health & safety management systems. The intern will assist in implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across operations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Diploma in: Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical) Or a related field
- Basic knowledge of HSE principles and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn and work in field and office environments
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001
- Familiarity with hazard identification and risk assessment
- Prior academic projects or coursework related to safety or environment
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and monitoring HSE policies, procedures, and programs
- Support workplace safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Help identify potential hazards and recommend corrective/preventive actions
- Assist in preparing safety reports, checklists, and documentation
- Participate in incident investigations and near-miss reporting
- Support safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Assist in ensuring compliance with local HSE regulations and company standards
- Maintain HSE records, data, and filing systems
- Support environmental initiatives such as waste management and sustainability efforts
