We are currently accepting applications for the position of EHS and Loss Prevention Specialist Principal Purpose of Position: · Maintenance of existing OSHA safety programs and coordination of regulatory environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance activities as well as development of new programs as indicated through trend and gap analysis. · Audit of EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. · EHS risk/hazard identification and recommendation of reduction methods. · Accident/incident investigation, root cause analysis, and tracking of preventive corrective actions. · Development, monitoring and reporting of loss prevention performance goals (e.g. employee injury rates) for each division of the organization. · Maintenance of safety performance statistical records and metrics. · Development and presentation of EHS and loss prevention training to line management and safety team members to develop core areas of expertise. · Oversight and completion of required EHS reporting to local, state, and federal agencies. · Assist with environmental due diligence on all potential corporate acquisitions as requested. · Assistance with site emergency response and security programs. · Coordination with Company’s insurance broker and insurance carrier’s Loss Prevention teams. · Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Safety, Occupational Health or similar focus.
  • Minimum 5 years’ EHS and loss prevention experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Current ASP, CSP or CHMM certification or ability to achieve certification is preferred.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is desired.
