General Summary Responsible for performing a variety of cardiac testing: EKG, Holter, Stress Testing and Echocardiography. Exhibits independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Participates in continuously improving the process of care delivery focused upon the customer. Promotes a positive climate for interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships. Demonstrates favorable guest relations and continues to promote values of the hospital in daily work performance. May also perform other related patient care duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic at a level normally acquired through completion of high school or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic Cardiac practices and procedures at a level normally acquired through completion of an A.S. in a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Program and/or extensive on the job training under the direction of a cardiologist.

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible is desired.
  • At least one year work and call experience preferred.
