About The Position

The Electrical Assembler (Travel) is responsible for assembling, wiring, installing, and supporting electrical systems at customer sites across the country. This role includes both in‑house assembly work and on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, problem‑solving, and regular travel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade schooling preferred.
• Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or field service.
• Ability to travel frequently (including overnight stays).
• Strong ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, electrical meters, and wiring tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and professional communication.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with field installations or commissioning.
• IPC soldering certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery, automation, or control systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations for on-site assembly, wiring, installation, and electrical panel integration
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Perform assembly of wiring harnesses, control panels, power distribution units, and electrical subsystems
• Conduct functional testing, continuity checks, and troubleshooting during and after installation.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards , including OSHA and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and engineering teams while on-site.
• Document installation steps, issues, resolutions, and required follow‑up work.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and travel materials in good working condition.
