FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE including 4/10-hour shifts and 5/8-hour shifts with flexible start times! As the Electrical Assembler, your primary responsibility will be to accurately define appropriate build sequences and provide hands on labor to assemble mobile equipment projects for industries including railway, construction, oil, mining, and more. You will use your detail-oriented skills to take responsibility and see projects through to completion.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of designing, using, and repairing machines and tools, computer hardware and software, building machines, and using plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
  • Math skills to solve problems
  • Ability to read and understand written information
  • Can identify problems and review information
  • Has the ability to understand and follow detailed drawings, schematics, assembly drawings, customer specifications and assembly procedures
  • Can lift 75 pounds
  • Can stand for 8 hours plus per day
  • Understands and follows work order instructions including sign-off of assembly department dispatches
  • Understands and follows existing quality control processes
  • Has any combination of education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge for successful performance

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of AC/DC electrical circuits and wiring common to industrial control panels and machinery
  • Perform continuity checks on electrical circuits
  • Troubleshoot wiring problems
  • Ability to accurately read/interpret electrical schematics and wiring charts
  • Identify appropriate assembly sequences to minimize unproductive time
  • Ensure products are built and tested to meet customer requirements
  • Identify component shortages and coordinate parts tracking with purchasing / material handling department
  • Coordinate work load with the assigned project manager to ensure design changes ECO changes are implemented into the overall assembly process
  • Ability to understand and willingness to follow Work Order instructions including sign-off of assembly department dispatches
  • Ability to understand and willingness to follow existing QC processes
  • Provide input into QC process improvements
