About The Position

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for electrical/electronic assembly operations on electro-mechanical systems or subsystems. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. · Assembles and disassembles a variety of electro-mechanical systems. · Analyzes engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists and / or instructions of moderate complexity to complete electro-mechanical operations correctly and efficiently. · Operates drills, taps and solders, hand and power tools as required. · Provides training in electrical assembly operations. · Performs other related duties as assigned. Education/Experience: · High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Mathematical Ability: · Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: · Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: · Proficient in Microsoft Office. Requirements
