Requirements

A high school diploma or GED certificate
3+ years of experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions
Must be able to work independently and a part of a team
Strong knowledge of electrical assembly processes, tools, and safety regulations

Responsibilities

Assemble materials.
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports
Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings
Pack finished products for shipment.
Adjust or repair electrical equipment.
Correct defects.
Test product to ensure conformance to specifications.
Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices
Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications
Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
Test functional performance.
Connecting cables, tubes, and wiring according to specifications
Identifying and resolving issues during the assembly process
