Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions
  • Must be able to work independently and a part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of electrical assembly processes, tools, and safety regulations

Responsibilities

  • Assemble materials.
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports
  • Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings
  • Pack finished products for shipment.
  • Adjust or repair electrical equipment.
  • Correct defects.
  • Test product to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices
  • Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications
  • Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Test functional performance.
  • Connecting cables, tubes, and wiring according to specifications
  • Identifying and resolving issues during the assembly process
