About The Position

Talent Consultants is seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our client's engineering team. In this advanced role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems to improve manufacturing processes and solutions. The Electrical Controls Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize machine control systems, ensure safety and reliability, and enhance overall production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in control theory, PLC programming, and system integration. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in electrical controls engineering or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of control theory, electrical systems, and PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
  • Proven experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar design software.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in relevant fields (e.g., Certified Automation Professional) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for various manufacturing and industrial applications.
  • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems according to project specifications.
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality and performance meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate controls with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging of control systems to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout all phases of project work.
  • Provide technical support to field engineers and technicians during installation and commissioning of control systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical control engineering.
