Electrical Engineer 1 (Onsite)
About The Position
Position will be responsible for the design and development of electronic controls and printed wiring board assemblies used in electric systems for military and commercial aircraft. The applicant will apply principles and techniques of electrical/electronic engineering to ensure design preparation is in accordance with applicable specifications, customer requirements and standard work practices; interfaces with various functional groups to coordinate design and engineering documentation releases, development testing, qualification testing, and entry into service. This role is onsite, in Rockford, IL. This role may be eligible for relocation.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Basic circuit analysis/simulation experience.
- Basic fundamental understanding of lab environment and equipment.
Responsibilities
- You will work on requirements management.
- You will do preliminary and detailed design.
- You will do development and qualification testing.
- You will prepare design, data and analysis in accordance with program requirements and customer specifications.
- You will determine and prepare procedures for testing products; documents results of design studies, trade studies, and failure analyses.
- You will provide technical assistance to manufacturing as required.
