About The Position

You will be working with a team of engineers across disciplines on client projects involving modifications to existing power generation facilities and plant electrical systems for today's leading energy providers. Participates in the design, preparation and integration of major electrical power equipment. Prepares engineering calculations and electrical control circuit designs. Performs tests, researches problems through various sources of technical information. Designs or modifies components and determines the intent of a specification /instruction. Makes recommendations on the acceptability of materials supplied and work completed by contractors. Provides support to engineering teams on a variety of client projects. Occasional travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited school.
  • 3 to 7 years of related practical work experience.
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD Software.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior nuclear experience highly desirable.
