About The Position
We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to join a well-established MEP consulting engineering team serving the Pedro, OH market. This full-time position is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with at least 7 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and building infrastructure projects in Pedro, OH. The role focuses on leading electrical engineering initiatives, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality consulting solutions for projects located in Pedro, OH and nearby communities. The selected candidate will play a key technical and leadership role within our architectural engineering practice, supporting the design and execution of building system electrical work across multiple market sectors in Pedro, OH. Requirements
- 7+ years of electrical engineering experience within MEP consulting, architectural engineering, or building systems design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial construction codes including NEC compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience producing electrical design drawings for commercial, institutional, or mixed-use facilities in Pedro, OH.
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, including practical, hands-on modeling and drafting work.
- Experience supporting projects in sectors such as education facilities, municipal buildings, recreation centers, healthcare offices, retail environments, hospitality, or light industrial structures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining technical precision and schedule accountability.
- Stable employment history within engineering consulting organizations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct electrical system design for power distribution, lighting layouts, and building infrastructure projects in Pedro, OH.
- Manage electrical engineering assignments from conceptual planning through construction phase support for clients in Pedro, OH.
- Produce and modify technical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit with active drafting involvement.
- Work closely with architects, mechanical and plumbing professionals, and project stakeholders to align project deliverables in Pedro, OH.
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC requirements and applicable building regulations relevant to Pedro, OH projects.
- Oversee project schedules, coordinate technical reviews, and monitor engineering task progress.
