Design high speed digital and power management circuits to meet section requirements. Design circuits using industry standard schematic capture tools and complete PCB layout implementation of responsible subsection. Perform worst case analysis of circuits in area of responsibility. Generate documentation that defines processor pin assignments. Validate testing to ensure performance over temperature and voltage extremes. Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues in assigned sections. Participate in system design reviews and interface closely with other teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Designing, simulating and validating complex embedded systems containing high-speed, controlled impedance transmission lines.
  • Root cause hardware and software issues, performing failure mode analysis, and generating process documentation.
  • Using electrical engineering test equipment including high-speed oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and time-domain reflectometers.
  • Using CAD tools for printed circuit board design including schematic capture, constraint management, component placement, and routing.
  • Implementing microprocessors, solid state memory, cameras, displays, and sensors into new designs.
  • Low voltage DC to DC power management.
