Requirements

You hold a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent or will have a minimum of five (5) years of practical avionics/electrical system installations, testing and integration experience in aviation.
You are proficient creating electrical drawings using AutoCad (preferred)
You have a working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft is preferred.
You will have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
You have a working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft is preferred.
You must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively.
You must exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
You should be an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Prepare all necessary documents to support the modification of Bombardier aircraft such as wire diagrams, functional test plans and reports, technical requirement documents, electrical load analysis and design compliance reports.
Extensive coordination with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, testing and certification of avionics and entertainment systems on all Bombardier platforms.
Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues
Work in a team environment
