About The Position

We’re growing our engineering capability in the Las Vegas–Henderson area and are looking for an Electrical Engineer who enjoys applying practical engineering fundamentals to real‑world building challenges. In this role, you’ll support the design and integration of electrical systems for commercial modular construction projects, collaborating closely with project managers, designers, and fabrication teams. Your work will span power distribution, lighting layouts, code‑compliant system design, and the coordination required to ensure each project is buildable, safe, and delivered with precision. This is an on‑site, hands‑on position where your engineering judgment directly influences project outcomes and overall project success. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience designing electrical systems for buildings, modular structures, or similar construction environments.
  • Familiarity with NEC requirements and general electrical code compliance.
  • Ability to read and produce technical drawings, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design tools used for electrical layout and modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply engineering fundamentals to practical design challenges.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast‑moving project environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical system designs for commercial modular building projects, including power distribution, lighting, and equipment layouts.
  • Prepare drawings, diagrams, and documentation that support fabrication, installation, and permitting requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and fabrication teams to ensure electrical plans align with overall building design and construction sequencing.
  • Review designs for accuracy, code compliance, and constructability, making adjustments as needed to support project goals.
  • Assist with resolving technical issues during fabrication and installation, providing clear guidance to internal teams and field personnel.
  • Support the preparation of submittals, calculations, and other engineering documents required for project execution.
  • Maintain organized project files and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and workflows.
