About The Position

Join Torch Technologies, a forefront innovator in advanced technology solutions, as an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. This internship is an excellent opportunity for electrical engineering students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge. Interns will work under the mentorship of experienced professionals and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technological solutions supporting government and defense customers. No telework option available for this position, work will be performed at customer site. During this internship, you will have the opportunity to: Gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering Provide Hardware in the Loop lab support to the US Army Aviation and Missile Center Duration and Location Duration: 12-week summer internship (May 13, 2026 – August 7, 2026) Location: Huntsville, Alabama Schedule: Full-time

Requirements

U.S. Citizen
At least 18 years old
Actively enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited educational institution
In good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the internship
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance to access classified information.

Nice To Haves

Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Knowledge of Python, PCB layout, Arduino programming, Electronics Troubleshooting
Knowledge of Electrical Engineering Principles and Computer Science Fundamentals
Must be able to solve problems
