Summary: The qualified candidate will assist the Engineering Department in the completion of project work. Project work will entail working both with other electrical engineers and independently on small scale projects.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate will be a BSEE student entering their senior year of studies.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office products and AutoCAD
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with other Toray employees, vendors, and contractors.
  • Ability to report on your project work and other supporting efforts in a clear and concise fashion.

  • “Hands on” and practical electrical experience / background a plus

Responsibilities

  • Attend Toray’s summer intern orientation and safety training sessions.
  • Understand and follow Toray’s safety policies and procedures.
  • Work alongside and assist other electrical engineers in the department with their project work.
  • Industrial Network Documentatio Lumirror Controls Refresh, L1 DCS I/O Documentation Poly Ancillary Systems HMI MigrationOT Software Archival system design and cabling requirements in AutoCad to support equipment installation efforts.
  • Oversee and support equipment installation and testing.
  • Prepare weekly engineering reports to share your progress on assigned projects and verbally report high level updates during biweekly engineering team review meetings.
