Design and lead the development of electrical systems, harnessing, components, and firmware based on project needs and specifications. Utilize tools such as CAD software for schematic, PCB, and firmware. Conduct feasibility studies and provide input during product development phases. Collaborate with other senior engineers and managers to ensure design integrity, functionality, and cost-effectiveness. Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes for electrical components and systems. Identify areas for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction. Lead development and implementation of test and inspection procedures to ensure product quality and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during manufacturing. Establish quality control standards and guidelines for electrical products. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications. Conduct thorough testing, validation, and verification of electrical systems. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for any quality deviations. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into final products. Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and project planning sessions. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the team. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to electrical design, manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures. Generate regular progress reports and technical documentation for internal and external purposes. Other duties as assigned
