Essential Functions: Assists in the design and fabrication of prototype cables and other electronic components. Prepares, conducts, and evaluates R&D testing; documents results and highlights anomalies. Collaborates with the engineering team to integrate feedback from customers and tests into product improvements. Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and resolves product-related issues for customers. Develops and maintains technical documentation, guides, and FAQs for internal and customer support. Configures, calibrates, and maintains electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools. Supports engineers with tasks such as circuit analysis, soldering, and assembly. Participates in brainstorming sessions for product improvement and technical reviews. Ensures a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and keeping workspaces tidy. Stays updated on advancements in electrical engineering, electronics, and relevant industry standards. Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management. Minimum Requirements: Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field; or minimum (2) years of work experience as an engineer technician in lieu of degree. Previous experience as an engineering technician required, preferably with exposure to technical or customer support. Previous experience with hands-on design and prototyping electronic components, required. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools. Experience in R&D testing or product development, preferred. Familiarity with CAD tools for electronic design, a plus. Pay Range: $24.00-$32.00/hr Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
