About The Position

W-Industries is an energy service company that specializes in Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation and Packaged Equipment for the Energy and Industrial markets. Our expertise encompasses the full spectrum of system technologies from pneumatic - hydraulic control systems to state-of-the-art programmable solutions to chemical injection systems, and everything in-between. W-Industries is searching for an Electrical Foreman to join our long history of success and tradition. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader responsible for supervising crews and overseeing electrical installations across projects within our Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation, and Packaged Equipment business units. This role ensures work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with company and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, NEC codes, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Skilled in using electrical testing and installation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach and train junior team members.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Valid electrician license or certification preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical school or apprenticeship completion preferred.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to reach with arms and use tools above/over the head.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist.
  • Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
  • Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas.
  • Ability to distinguish colors.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in energy, automation, or oil & gas industries highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of electricians and electrical helpers on job sites or in production environments.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate execution of work.
  • Ensure all work is performed according to NEC, client specifications, and internal quality standards.
  • Monitor project timelines, material usage, and manpower to ensure schedules are maintained.
  • Perform quality control checks and resolve technical or installation issues as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other trades to align goals.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members are properly trained and using required PPE.
  • Participate in hands-on installation and troubleshooting when necessary.
