About The Position
Support field electrical maintenance work and electrical isolation procedures (Lockout/Tagout – LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance. Plan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize production impact and maximize operational availability. This role typically reports to a supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a closely related electrical maintenance role, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
- Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License required
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly report field conditions and recommend solutions
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist others
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Nice To Haves
- Powerline / powerline build experience preferred
- Oilfield electrical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform field electrical maintenance activities including LOTO procedures
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Work with vendors and subcontractors as required
- Ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) requirements for plant modifications
- Identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and process simplification
- Maintain high SSHE standards and demonstrate commitment to safety for self and others
- Utilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe acts
- Participate in responsible waste management practices
- Attend and participate in daily operations shift meetings
- Support electrical maintenance related to lighting, motors, and air conditioning systems
