About The Position

IMC Electrical delivers a full range of electrical installation services for private and public facilities, with a strong presence in the Multifamily and Commercial markets. Headquartered in Northeast Florida, we are committed to providing cost-effective solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Role Overview: Oversees and coordinates all phases of electrical construction and maintenance activities on projects including Multifamily and Commercial developments throughout the Southeast United States. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of electrical installation or field leadership experience.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of electrical systems, local/state building codes, permitting and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, risers, specifications, and coordination drawings with accuracy and clarity.
  • Communicates effectively to collaborate with clients, trade partners, and internal teams.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve field challenges.
  • Effectively prioritizes tasks in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrates confident, data-driven decision-making.
  • Exhibits excellent organizational and leadership capabilities, with a strong focus on efficiency and quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with multifamily electrical construction and/or commercial construction is highly desirable.
  • Electrical or Journeyman’s License preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with PlanGrid, Procore, Adobe, BLUEBEAM, and/or Spectrum software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications to plan procedures, schedules, and staffing needs for each phase of construction.
  • Collaborate and build strong working relationships with superintendents, owners, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve design and field challenges.
  • Develop and implement strategies that set field teams up for success by removing roadblocks and creating efficiencies.
  • Coach crews, foremen, and apprentices to improve performance and quality.
  • Lead and participate in pre-construction meetings.
  • Support senior management in project organization, planning, and coordination of safety, schedules, and company objectives.
  • Manage change request logs, procurement, and cost controls to align with project goals.
  • Maintain formal correspondence with clients and construction teams; lead progress meetings and provide clear direction to teams.
  • Promote and enforce company safety policies and quality control standards; conduct site inspections as required.
  • Orders and monitors procurement of tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered according to project schedule and budget constraints.
  • Track job cost performance, perform financial projections, and manage change orders, back charges, and back orders.
  • Prepare and submit progress and percent-completion reports for payment applications.
  • Approve subcontractor/vendor requisitions, invoices, payroll, and labor reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Oversee project closeout documentation and coordinate office-to-field activities throughout construction.
