This is a full-time, direct placement for E-MC Electrical, Inc. About E-MC Electrical Founded in 1977, E-MC Electrical, Inc. is a well-established commercial electrical contractor headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. The company delivers high-quality electrical construction and system solutions across aviation, manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, energy, and commercial facilities throughout Texas. E-MC is known for long-term client relationships, safety-driven execution, and complex project delivery. Position Overview E-MC Electrical is seeking a senior-level Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical projects in the Fort Worth / DFW market. This role is responsible for full project lifecycle management, including pre-construction planning, financial performance, field coordination, and project closeout. This position works closely with Superintendents, estimating teams, and prefabrication to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contract documents.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of electrical trade experience
  • 5+ years as an Electrical Project Manager
  • Current Journeyman or Master Electrician License
  • Strong commercial electrical construction background
  • Proven leadership, budgeting, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of project financials, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and reporting
  • Review and interpret all contract documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Develop working estimates and take-offs in collaboration with the Project Superintendent
  • Prepare and manage change orders
  • Lead pre-construction meetings to align estimating, operations, and field teams
  • Coordinate with prefabrication to identify efficiency opportunities
  • Establish production plans, schedules, and project goals
  • Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, equipment, labor, and information on site
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Project Superintendents
  • Monitor work quality and accuracy against contract requirements
  • Manage submittals and RFIs
  • Oversee accurate and timely project documentation, including daily reports, time tickets, and safety documentation
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and vendors
  • Manage all project closeout activities and documentation
