We are looking for an Electrical Technician/Lab Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director, Electrical Engineering and is based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

Requirements

Must be able to work from PID and wiring schematics
Must work well in a cross functional group setting
Must be able to use electrical hand held devices such as DVM, and DMM’s
Will demonstrate electrical safety practices including Lock-out-tag-out
High school diploma with training certification.
At least 7 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in system electrical layout
Specify improved electrical materials including wiring, connectors, PLC’s etc.
Create FRACAS (Failure Reporting and Cost Analysis System) entries as needed
Rework wiring harnesses as technical changes arise
Create wiring lists, and convert to electrical drawings
Make technical changes to hardware layout and administer using the ECO process
Perform I/O testing on systems in order to ready for startup
Assist in system startup procedures
Bench test electrical devices such as power supplies, battery assemblies, and PCB’s
Assist in troubleshooting gateway computers, and ancillary hardware
Make recommendations for electrical layout improvements
Assist in monitoring system performance at sub system level
