About The Position

Maintenance holds the responsibility of producing and maintaining the fixture in guest rooms, employee areas and the Hotel. Keep a daily record of tasks performed via the work scheduling / reporting system. Responsible for all other duties as assigned by area and Management. Will assist all other trades and crafts with routine and emergency work assignments. Repair and maintain outside landscape lighting fixtures, pole lights & building up lighting.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years commercial or industrial Journeyman experience in one or more of the following areas: Installing conduit and wiring, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining low and high voltage single, 3 phase and AC/DC electrical systems; motor, motor controls and VFD installation, troubleshooting, and repairs; UPS and paralleling switch gear systems experience helpful.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a 4-year accredited apprenticeship program.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be able to read, understand and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics and sketches; and be proficient in the safe use of all trade related hand and power tools, safety and protective equipment.
• Must be able to respond immediately to all emergency calls.
• Will assist all other trades and crafts with routine and emergency work assignments.
