Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Experience with industrial electrical processes and controls
  • Experience with mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and power transmission
  • Experience with trouble shooting mechanical & electrical issues on computer/plc controlled equipment.
  • Proficient with a PC, MS OFFICE Suite and similar software.
  • Safe & proper use of electrical test equipment and tools
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years’ experience as a journey level electrician in a manufacturing operation.
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong PLC/PC troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced ladder logic programming
  • PC/PLC networking skills/experience
  • Fiber optics terminations/splicing
  • Electrical panel building knowledge/experience
  • Robotics integration and maintenance
  • Multi axis CNC operations, support and maintenance
  • PC/PLC/CNC/ROBOTICS Integration/Design experience (component spec, sizing and selection)
  • Project planning and implementation

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of facility electrical systems
  • Maintenance/Knowledge of PLC's, Ladder Logic and related controls
  • Maintenance of facility machinery/systems
  • Proficiency with VFD’s, Servo’s, Temposonics, PWM, Cross Platform Communications
  • Electrical Predictive/Preventive Maintenance
  • Clean/Organized work areas
  • Electrical/Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Installation, moving and modifying industrial equipment
  • Workplace Safety practices/program participation
  • Good work ethic and team attitude
  • Ability to follow written & verbal instructions
