What you'll do Own break-fix and preventive maintenance tasks with minimal direction, following industry standards Observe machines in operation to determine root causes; disassemble assemblies; adjust functional parts and control instruments; repair or replace defective components Operate within industrial control systems to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve equipment issues Apply strong electrical, mechanical, and fluid power expertise to restore performance Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items Work closely with customer maintenance counterparts on reliability and PM procedures Set up and run machining equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder); perform welding as needed to fabricate/repair parts Follow customer contractor codes of conduct, safety processes, and housekeeping guidelines Document all work in service reports and customer/enterprise systems Pursue on-the-job training and self-study to expand technical mastery Adhere to all safety rules and technical instructions; maintain situational awareness and proactively address unsafe behaviors and conditions
