About The Position

Are you the go-to troubleshooter customers can rely on? If diagnosing complex equipment, restoring uptime, and partnering with on-site teams sounds like your rhythm, this role is for you. What you'll do Own break-fix and preventive maintenance tasks with minimal direction, following industry standards Observe machines in operation to determine root causes; disassemble assemblies; adjust functional parts and control instruments; repair or replace defective components Operate within industrial control systems to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve equipment issues Apply strong electrical, mechanical, and fluid power expertise to restore performance Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items Work closely with customer maintenance counterparts on reliability and PM procedures Set up and run machining equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder); perform welding as needed to fabricate/repair parts Follow customer contractor codes of conduct, safety processes, and housekeeping guidelines Document all work in service reports and customer/enterprise systems Pursue on-the-job training and self-study to expand technical mastery Adhere to all safety rules and technical instructions; maintain situational awareness and proactively address unsafe behaviors and conditions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate degree (technical) plus 5+ years relevant industry experience; or 7+ years in the industry
  • Comfort with basic and specialized tools
  • Proven knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems; able to analyze, propose alternatives, and execute repairs
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (local, national, international)

Nice To Haves

  • Preventive maintenance methods, precision measurement, mechanical alignment, and process equipment upkeep
  • Exposure to programmable logic controllers, field devices, and electrical drive/motor systems
