About The Position

Join a field team that keeps industry moving Travel : Extensive, both local and national. Role snapshot Execute break-fix and preventive maintenance on complex industrial equipment. Diagnose root causes by observing equipment in operation, disassembling systems, adjusting controls, and repairing or replacing parts. Troubleshoot electrical circuits and mechanical assemblies using deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems. Identify required parts, supplies, and repair items; complete work independently to industry standards. Collaborate with customer teams to deliver reliability and PM procedures. Set up and operate machining equipment - lathe, drill press, grinder - and perform welding as needed to fabricate or repair components. Adhere to customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping standards, and safety processes. Record all activities in service reports and relevant maintenance management systems. Apply standard methods within industrial control systems to analyze complex equipment, conduct maintenance, and resolve issues. Engage in on-the-job training and technical self-study to support career growth. Follow all safety policies and technical instructions; maintain situational awareness to spot and address unsafe conditions and behaviors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree with technical focus and 5 years of related industry experience, or 7 years of related industry experience.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools.
  • Proven capability with electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems; able to analyze issues, develop alternatives, and execute repairs.

Nice To Haves

  • Preventive maintenance methods, precision measurement, mechanical alignment, and general process equipment maintenance.
  • Exposure to PLCs, field instrumentation, and electrical drive and motor systems.
