Schedule: Day shift (Monday thru Friday) / must be available to serve in on-call rotation to address after-hours and weekend emergencies. Compensation: Paid Weekly - hourly rate based on experience

Requirements

  • Associate degree or certification in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Intermediate understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be available to serve in on-call rotation to address after-hours and weekend emergencies, with additional compensation provided.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Computer literate, Microsoft environment.
  • Agility to climb, walk, twist, and bend.
  • Ability to stand or sit in one place for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation and setup of automated machinery and control systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on automation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automated systems.
  • Document maintenance activities and system performance.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Proficient in 480-volt 3 phase and all control voltages applicable.
  • Strong ability to make changes to control wiring and PLC programming with the ability to understand the importance of backing up files and updating electrical prints.
  • Perform or assist with other maintenance duties, electrical or mechanical, as required.
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedule.
