Electro-mechanical Technician Job Purpose: Develops Electro-mechanical equipment by fabricating, custom electro-mechanical assemblies, and testing components and parts. Duties: Determines project objectives by studying engineering blueprints and drawings; reviewing specifications and requirements with engineers. Must be able to read and understand industrial standard schematics and assembly drawing. Builds equipment by devising, fabricating, and assembling components and parts. Including troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies and printed circuit boards. Board level soldering, Cable fabrication techniques and assembly/wiring of various 19inch Rack Systems and custom assemblies. Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques. Maintains Job data base by entering and backing up data. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
