Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts. Supports engineering in new builds and maintains the needs of existing equipment. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications. Requires enrollment in an apprenticeship and/or formal training program in the area of specialty. The Electronics Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment. This role ensures all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards while supporting both new system builds and ongoing operational needs.
