Lockheed Martin is seeking a College Student summer intern in Electrooptical engineering. The successful candidate will have an understanding of basic optical physical principals (such as reflection, refraction, diffraction, absorption, transmission, attenuation). The successful candidate will have passed introductory undergraduate mathematics, engineering and/or physics curricula. Must be a US Citizen.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics Math or other related degree program from an accredited college/university.
- Optics experience
- Must be a US Citizen
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of/coursework in optics
- Knowledge of/experience constructing optical breadboards
- Knowledge/coursework in quantum mechanics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
