Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, we are in search of an Electromechanical Assembler for various Assembly lines and cells. This position plays a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. Trystar’s Electromechanical Assembler position is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Electromechanical Assembler proficiently assembles various high-quality systems and assembles in a safe manner within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect components and sub-assemblies being produced.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to effectively use a tape-measure, perform simple mathematics.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
  • Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
  • Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection.
  • Ability to work in a team environment while collaborating, troubleshooting and problem solving with coworkers.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products using hand and power tools to position, align, and fasten parts and units into assemblies, subassemblies, or frame.
  • Review and understand job orders and interact with Epicor, by properly badging in and out of active job orders on the production floor.
  • Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to safely and properly operate the equipment and tools required to assemble the product.
  • Check completed units to ensure they meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
  • Test and troubleshoot electronic equipment.
  • Perform and document required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications.
  • Assemble and disassemble products for maintenance or repair.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
