Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
At least 2 years of experience in electrical component and systems design, or a Master’s degree in a related field.
Strong working knowledge of electromechanical systems and industrial manufacturing processes.
Experience with Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) best practices.
Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Clear, confident communication skills—able to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree or expertise in Electrical or Electromechanical Systems.
Hands-on experience in cost-reduction or VAVE projects.
Familiarity with lift trucks or mobile equipment.
Advanced knowledge of electronic control systems and hydraulics.
Experience using JIRA or similar project management tools.
Competitive benchmarking experience.

Responsibilities

Identify and propose design alternatives that reduce costs or improve performance and quality.
Develop and test redesigned components or systems to support cost reduction initiatives.
Troubleshoot existing product issues, perform root cause analysis, and modify designs to meet targets.
Analyze supplier capabilities and costs to discover opportunities for improvement.
Serve as the primary Systems Engineer within the VAVE team.
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, and product development teams.
Drive initiatives that directly influence product cost and organizational profitability.
