About The Position

Perform electroneurodiagnostic testing.
Perform set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test.
Review patient's history, obtain any necessary information or documentation and provide education to patient about procedures.
Monitor and document patient's condition at all times and report any adverse reactions.
Operate and maintain a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data, which may include EEG(Electroencephalography), EP (Evoked Potential), and PSG (Polysomnography) equipment.
Recognize and correct for artifacts.
Score/graph, document and report results of diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Electroencephalographic Technician preferred.
• Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred.
• Technologist specializing in Nerve Conduction Study credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
