About The Position

Electronic Tech | Hiring Immediately | Hazleton, PA Compensation: Starting pay rate $35.02 per hour Shift/Schedule: 8 hr M-F Requirements: Will be expected to diagnose and repair all equipment with minimum supervision. Should be familiar with all in-house equipment and procedures related to electronics field and have a fundamental understanding of mechanics. Will be expected to maintain necessary records. Will be expected to identify faulty parts, be knowledgeable of where spare parts are located and provide proper information, in the form of a requisition, to order parts or supplies that are not presently on hand. Assist in training of maintenance employees to upgrade their knowledge of electronic repairs. Maintain a clean, safe working environment. Be diversified and willing to assist in a variety of skills as needed. Maintain a preventative maintenance program on all equipment that will maximize equipment reliability and dependability. Develop and maintain a business relationship with vendors and equipment resource personnel. Other duties as necessary EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Three to five years experience in an electro-mechanical capacity Associates Degree required with curriculum including courses in pneumatics and hydraulics, fluid power, industrial electricity, industrial motor controls, PLC’s, blueprint reading, machining, and kinematics and mechanics of machines.

Requirements

  • Three to five years experience in an electro-mechanical capacity
  • Associates Degree required with curriculum including courses in pneumatics and hydraulics, fluid power, industrial electricity, industrial motor controls, PLC’s, blueprint reading, machining, and kinematics and mechanics of machines.
  • Must be able to use and operate precision instruments and machines.
  • Speaking and presentation skills to conduct effective meetings
