AER Technologies, Inc. is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our success-driven Production team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible to conduct a variety of electronic, mechanical and electromechanical tests and perform detailed troubleshooting root cause analysis on instrument cluster repairs to ensure the product functions per company and manufacturer specifications. Specifically, in this role you will:

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in the diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuitry
  • Be able to work with team members and follow guidelines
  • Ability to work on fine-pitch components where tight precision soldering is required.
  • Be knowledgeable about common electronic and electro-mechanical components and be able to assist in the selection and procurement of parts and materials.
  • Ability to read and work from electronic schematics.
  • Able to use a DVM, Oscilloscope, and other technical equipment.
  • Understanding of ESD practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in J-Standard 001/ IPC-A-610 (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electronic circuitries down to the component level.
  • Perform mechanical and electronic assembly of products including hand soldering on circuit board assemblies using written instructions, schematic specifications, and industry standards.
