Job Title: Electronic Technician Reporting To: Production Coach Work Schedule: Onsite – Johnson City, TN Our team in Space & Defense is looking for an Electronic Technician to join them. You will report to the Production Coach and will have an onsite work schedule in Johnson City, TN.

Requirements

  • A Two-year Associate degree in Electronics or related field (military education / experience will be considered)
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

  • Correctly store, clean, and maintain tools and equipment; verify calibration dates/seals.
  • Thoroughly complete data sheets/test reports for parts tested.
  • Perform qualification, acceptance, or special tests.
  • Develop trouble-shooting procedures.
  • Maintain working knowledge of logic circuitry.
  • Learn how to use new types of test equipment and test systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment.
  • Load and maintain software for ATE.
  • Help train / cross-train others.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Process
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
