About The Position

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Electronic Technician to bolster our team. The Electronic Technician performs all necessary repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance procedures to ensure effective operation of all equipment in the areas of revenue collection and processing, two-way radio communication, electronic head signs, and digital video recorders and associated equipment. Transdev is proud to offer: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: $29.88/hr. - $37.67/hr. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Electronics Technician
  • Must be able to comprehend parts books and maintenance manuals and accurately complete any necessary reports or other documents.
  • Mechanic’s Tool Set
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses and performs repair procedures necessary to correct all reported malfunctions of farebox, money processing, radio, and electronic head sign and digital recording equipment.
  • Analyzes, cleans, and repairs all component parts relative to this equipment.
  • Performs preventive maintenance procedures to reduce the instances of repair related malfunctions
  • Completes and submits daily reports related to repair procedures.
  • Performs road calls, on-the-road repairs, and road tests as needed.
  • Keeps assigned work area clean and organized.
  • Maintains DOT card and Class B driver license.
  • Other related duties as assigned or required.
