About The Position

TSC is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer with an educational and/or industry focus in the analysis and design of Analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal hardware for radars/sensors, missile electronics, communication systems or related applications. The role will be located at TSC’s Huntsville, Alabama office, supporting the Radar & Precision Weapons Development Operation. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test mixed-signal, analog, and RF circuits Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of designs Supporting all phases of detailed system and subsystem hardware development activities, including upfront analysis, prototyping and end item development and evaluation in laboratory and field test environments Hands-on lab testing of in-house developed electronics hardware. Common equipment used include oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators Analysis of measured data from laboratory and/or field testing of in-house developed hardware and systems.

Requirements

  • B.S degree in Electrical Engineering with 0-5 years of experience in industry
  • Strong desire to learn and implement industry advancements in electronics design
  • Self-motivated and free-thinking individual capable of technical discussion, complex problem solving and scrutinizing prior assumptions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in analysis, design, and testing of mixed-signal and RF systems
  • Experience with schematic design and PCB layout software (Cadence OrCAD Capture, Allegro, or similar)
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as MATLAB or Python
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools such as Microwave Office or Ansys HFSS
