About The Position

Primary Purpose: Maintain accurate attendance records for the campus. Under direct supervision, perform data entry, including attendance, Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data, and grades. Process student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals for the campus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to use a personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing
  • Proficient keyboarding, file maintenance, and 10-key skills
  • Ability to meet established deadlines
  • Two years data entry experience, preferably in public education environment
  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Work with frequent interruptions.
  • Repetitive hand motions
  • Prolonged use of computer.
  • Moderate walking, standing, heavy lifting and carrying up to 53 pounds; climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Responsibilities require contact with individuals that may include exposure to disruptive behavior.
