About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our custodial team, where you will maintain a clean and safe environment for our students, including a high population of children with special needs. This role involves comprehensive cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and dining areas, with a focus on deep-detailing during school breaks and non-instructional days. You will receive hands-on training in specialized floor care and equipment operation . Due to the physical nature of the work, candidates must be able to perform heavy lifting (especially during summer projects) and consistently bend, stoop, and move throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Physically able to bend, lift up to 30 lbs., walk quickly, and remain on your feet throughout the shift
• Willing to consent to a background check
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic English proficiency required for safety
• As a condition of employment for this position, you are required to become a member of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 26. Union membership and dues authorization must be completed upon hire. The terms and conditions of your employment are governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
