About The Position
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution. Valid teaching certificate for the State of Michigan. Preferred Skills: Skilled at designing learning environments that promote a student's ability to achieve at their highest potential. Experience using data to develop lesson plans and instructional groups. Familiarity with The Essential Instructional Practices in Early Literacy. Familiarity with Orton Gillingham Approach to Literacy. Effective communication with students, staff, parents, and community. Outstanding computer skills, professional appearance and regular attendance at school sponsored events and activities. Keen awareness of responsibilities for confidentiality and professionalism. Familiarity with PBIS. Performing all other duties as assigned by the Building Principal. Terms of Employment: Full-time salary and health care benefits provided. Negotiable based on experience, education and certification; per CEA Contract. Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year
